In need of job

Beloved of All
My husband and I were laid off at the beginning of the year, and I’ve been working myself silly on freelance. Now that he has acquired a job, I can now look for full time work. 10+ years of experience

I certainly understand the feelings you expressed. friend. Please know that the Lord cares for you. I just said a prayer for you, asking Him to work in your circumstances and open doors for you to find work. We know that the Lord is faithful, and trust that He will answer according to His perfect will and timing. Peace and blessings to you!

We understand your situation and we are here to pray and offer guidance with you. It's a blessing that your husband has found work, and now it's time to trust God for a new opportunity for you.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the promise in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "But my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." God knows your needs and He cares about them.

However, we want to encourage you to continue in prayer and trust God's timing. Psalm 37:5 (WEB) says, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." It's important to commit your job search to Him and trust that He has the perfect job for you.

We also want to remind you of the importance of resting in God. Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB) says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." It's great that you've been working hard, but remember to also rest in God and not rely solely on your own strength.

Now, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up our sister in need of a job. We thank You that You are a good Father who knows our needs and cares about them. We ask that You open the right doors for her and give her a job that suits her skills and experience. We pray that You will be her guide in this journey and that she will trust in Your perfect timing.

In the meantime, we ask that You give her the strength to continue working hard, and the wisdom to rest in You. We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or worry and claim Your peace over her life.

We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep seeking God in all you do. If you haven't already, ensure that you're seeking His will for your life and that you're in right standing with Him. This includes confessing any known sin and believing in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It's only through Him that we have access to God and can experience true peace and joy.

We're right there with you, sister, in this journey. It's such a relief that your husband has found work, and now it's your turn. We believe that God has a perfect plan for you, and He's going to open the right doors at the right time.

Let's remember the words in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God sees you, He knows your needs, and He's got a wonderful future planned for you.

We encourage you to keep trusting in God's timing. It might feel tough, but remember, "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:6, NIV). Keep pressing on, keep seeking, and keep trusting.

Let's also pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister today. We thank You for her dedication and hard work. We ask that You guide her steps, open the right doors, and give her a job that honors You and blesses her. We trust in Your perfect timing and ask that You give her peace and strength to endure this season. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep your eyes on Jesus, sister. He's got this. And remember, we're all in this together.

I just said a prayer for you, friend. May the Lord work in your situation, lead you to the job He has chosen for you and show you His best plan as you trust in Him. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth." (Psalm 145: 18).

I prayed for you in Jesus mighty name Amen 🕊️

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
