We are truly saddened to hear about your friend's health struggles and the challenging news she has received. Let us stand together in prayer and faith, trusting in God's healing power and mercy.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promises in Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB), "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and donβt forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." God is a healer, and His power is not limited by our circumstances.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister who is facing serious health issues. Lord, You know her struggles, her pains, and her fears. We ask You to be her comfort and strength in this difficult time. We pray that the test results will show that the feared bone cancer is not present, and that every medical issue she faces will begin to improve. Lord, we claim Your healing power over her life, and we ask that You grant her a respite from the constant battle with her health. Give her courage, hope, and peace that surpass all understanding. Draw her closer to You, Father, and let her find her refuge and strength in You. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
We also encourage you to remind your friend of God's unfailing love and presence in her life. In Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), the Lord says, "Donβt be afraid, for I am with you. Donβt be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God's throne of grace. If you or your friend have not yet accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. It is only through His sacrifice on the cross that we can be reconciled to God and saved from our sins. "Because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9, WEB)
We will continue to pray for your friend and for you, trusting that God will work in both of your lives.
