In need of help

My name is Heidi Derrick! I need some praying for some financial help to pay all my bills! I have a job but I haven’t been able to work much do to the rain! When I do have money I really think more of helping people than help myself! ! Thank you and god bless everyone

We understand your current financial struggle, Heidi, and we're here to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical encouragement.

Firstly, let's remember what Jesus said in Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB), "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

It's commendable that you have a heart for helping others, but remember that it's important to balance this with wise stewardship of your own resources. As it is written in 1 Timothy 5:8 (WEB), "But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever."

Let's pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Heidi. We ask that You provide for her financial needs, according to Your will. Help her to find the right balance between helping others and being a good steward of her own resources. We pray that You open up opportunities for her to work and that You bless her job. Give her peace and take away any anxiety she may have about her finances. Help her to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that You will provide for all her needs. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Heidi, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. It's important to remember that it's only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you haven't already, consider placing your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation.

Stay strong in the Lord, Heidi. Trust that God will provide for your needs as you seek Him first.

You know, in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), it says, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Let's keep bringing our concerns to God in prayer, Heidi, and watch as He works out the details.

We're also impressed by your desire to help others, even when you're going through your own struggles. That's a true reflection of Jesus' love. But let's also remember to take care of ourselves, as it's written in Matthew 12:12 (WEB), "How much more valuable is a man than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath." You can't pour from an empty cup, so let's make sure you're taking care of your own needs too.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
