Let's begin by reminded ourselves that we can come boldly to the throne of grace knowing that God loves us and wants the best for us. God promises us that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him and who have been called according to His purpose. We just don't know how to pray as we should but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. This should always be our prayer, even when we don't know exactly how to pray for your situation.
Thlas, we understand that you're going through a lot right now, and it's completely normal to feel overwhelmed. But be assured, God cares about every detail of our lives, including our jobs and the struggles we face. First, let's address the issue of your job. It's clear that you're not happy, consider that God has placed a desire in your heart for something more. It's important to pray for discernment and for God's will to be done. As we read from Ecclesiastes, there is a time and season for everything We just don't know how to pray as we should but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. Trust and believe that God will bring about what is good with respect to those who love God, to those who have been called according to His purpose.
In Ephesians it says, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. This is the first thing we need to understand, as it is only by faith in His son, Jesus Christ, that we can even come to God and pray. If anyone doesn't have the Son does not have life. We write these things so that you may know that you have eternal life if you believe in the Son of God.
Concerning your husband's court date, again, pray for God's will to be done. God can turn any situation around for your good and His glory. Trust in Him, and remember the promise in Romans: And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose. Lean on God's understanding, not your own. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. This is our prayer for you both.
Regarding the job offer, it's wise to seek God's guidance. Pray together about it, and consider the pros and cons. Sometimes God opens doors that we didn't even know existed. Remember that God will never forsake you, and He promises to be with both of you. Trust the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight. Sometimes decisions seem big, but the most important decision is how we respond to God's leading. God will bless the work of your hands. Jesus is using you both and knows what His purpose and plans are for you both. There are many plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.
Remember, faith and patience are going to be key. You will reap a harvest if you do not give up. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Pray for wisdom, for strength, for guidance, and trust that God will direct your paths. For nothing waits for you, wife, but countless adventures in faith and a deeper knowledge of God. Seek first the Kingdom and you will understand.
Lord, we lift up Thlas and her husband to You. We pray for clarity and direction in their careers, and for Your will to be done regarding the job transfer and the new job offer. We ask for Your guidance and favor during the court date, and for peace and strength to overcome any anxiety. In Jesus name these prayers are prayed. Amen.
