In my online search for a "word" this morning, I found this blog by Stone Gable, "A Special Gift from God." It was a great reminder of the "gifts" from God through the Holy Spirit. There are those natural talents and abilities and there are those spiritual gifts.

In this season of "giving" and celebration of Lord's birth, I'd like to share this "word" from one of my dear sisters in Christ . . . (and I am paraphrasing). She said, "CHRIST came for the MASSES." (CHRIST-MAS). He came to bring "light" unto this world. It is our responsibility to share that "light" and let that "light" shine through each of us.

"Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a basket. Instead, they set it on a lampstand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:16-17

NEVER BE LAZY BUT WORK AND SERVE THE LORD, ENTHUSIASTICALLY. Romans 12:11

Lord, we thank you that you for the blessings that you have given us. Help us to honor you in every part of our lives. We place this request at your throne. Please hear and reply according to your perfect will and timing. Grant us the peace to know that you are in control. In Jesus Name. Amen.

YLet This Be Your Prayer: God I ask You in Jesus' name bless me with the desires of my heart that is the will of God.  Bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and cause my soul to prosper in the Word of God.  Bless me to know You in truth, love You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength, and bless me with the strength, and spirit of obedience to always obey You.  Bless me to dream the dreams of God and be a success in Christ Jesus.  Deliver me of everything in my life that is not of You O God.  Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.  Let all the fruits of the Holy Spirit be active in my life.  Lead, guide, and direct my footsteps daily.  Give Your angels charge over me to protect and keep me safe from all evil, hurt, harm, danger, and the plans of the enemy of my soul.  Let no weapon formed against me ever prosper.  God all that I have asked You in this prayer, do the same for the writer of this prayer, those I love and care about. God forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. Thank You Jesus. Amen.
