In John 1:14 ► And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. in Isaiah 43:10 ► Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. A prayer for this verses before the testimony, Heavenly Father, may the words of our mouth, thoughts and deeds be a testimony of our true and living God. we thank You in knowing the power of Your grace, the sweetness of Your comforts, the kind care of Your providence, and the truth of Your promise. We believe in Your power, truth, and love that is wrought within us through the blood of our Savior Jesus Christ. In His name we give our praise. Amen. we sometimes wonder… How did God give us a soul? According to Genesis 2:7 God did not make a body and put a soul into it like a letter into an envelope of dust; rather he formed man's body from the dust, then, by breathing divine breath into it, he made the body of dust live, i.e. the dust did not embody a soul, but it became a soul – a whole creature. so what values more , is it our body or our soul or both? our body - only lives that ranges from 0-120 years, no one these days exceeded that age … because sin entered the world, we have mortal bodies but after Jesus burial, crucifixion, resurrection and ascension… our soul - is the very temple of God , the Spirit of God dwelleth in us if we are a follower of Jesus, our body is a place of worship… in Romans 8:3-4 For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man, in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit. Thankfully, God gives us two gifts that fulfill the Law's righteous demands, which the Law itself could never give us. First, he gives us the perfect sin offering — his Son Jesus — to forgive, cleanse, and redeem us from our sin. Second, he gives us his Spirit to empower us to be what he wants us to be. We grieve the Spirit by what we do to Him. We quench the Holy Spirit by what we refuse to let Him do through us. In other words, we grieve the Spirit by doing what He tells us not to do. If we're going to avoid grieving the Spirit, we need to walk in the holiness of God, live in response to the love of Christ, and maintain a spirit of peace and unity with others , may they be a Jew or a Gentile. Our Prayer: Heavenly Father; come into our life and do those miracles of grace which help us to know You, guiding us and leading us . And if we are not 'right' with You, bring us to a place of repentance and lamentation of our sins and therefore find glorious liberty: Thank you, Heavenly Father, for Your incomparable kindness and grace in giving us Your great and perfect gifts — Your precious and perfect Son who Is the incarnate word of God and the blessed Holy Spirit to empower us. In Jesus' name, and by the intercession of the Holy Spirit, we praise and thank You, dear Father. Amen.
