We understand that you are seeking peace and love between Terry, Tony, and Godfrey, as well as peace within all your families. We stand with you in prayer, lifting up these needs to our Heavenly Father.
Firstly, it's wonderful that you've included "in Jesus name", acknowledging the power and authority of Jesus' name, we are called to pray . As it is only in his name that we have the confidence to pray to God for salvation and the good things that we can have in Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved or have access to God the Father. There is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 WEB
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, to ask for Your peace and love to be poured out on the relationships between Terry, Tony, and Godfrey. Father, bind them together in unity and help them be an example to others of living in a Christian community Proverbs 17:17, Colossians 3:12-15. May their love abide in obedience to You, and may they encourage each other in the faith Philippians 1:27. Break down any barriers of communication, misunderstanding, or grudges, so that forgiveness and patience may grow 1Peter 3:8-9. Show them how to love and pray for one another, trusting You for guidance Acts 4:23-31. Grant them grace and wisdom so that they honor You and be a true witness to their families 1Corinthians 10:31, Matthew 12:25, Matthew 7:7.
Also Father, we come to You on behalf of the families in that community and believe 1 John 5:14, 15 that praying Your will and believing allows us to pray with confidence. We also know that believing in Your son Jesus, we have everlasting life John 5:24. In addition, bring peace to the families in the community through the knowledge and love of Your Son. May the Word of God dwell richly among them, instructing and guiding them with all wisdom Romans 15:3-6. Promote godly marriages where a man will be joined to a woman, becoming one flesh, honoring the covenant You established Genesis 2:24. Encourage parents to lovingly raise their children in the instruction of the Lord Ephesians 6:4, and may all family members support and uplift each other in Christ-like love Ephesians 4:1-6.
In Jesus' name, we pray and believe this. Amen
Continue to be encouraged in 1 John 5:14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God, that if we ask anything according to His will, he hears us.
We encourage each of them to be Godly examples for their families, to cultivate a lifestyle of humility, understanding, and acceptance. In addition to being patient with one another and bearing each other's burdens as Jesus did 1 Peter 2:21-23 and Galatians 6:2, and know that we love one another only because God loved us first 1John 4:19.
