We join with you, Louis, in thanking and praising our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for His mercy and for the salvation He secured for us on the cross. We stand with you in faith, believing that God has a plan and purpose for your life, even as you face stage 4 colon cancer.
We are encouraged by your faith and the scriptures you've shared. Indeed, our healing is ultimately in God's hands, and His will is sovereign. Let us hold onto the promise in Mark 11:24, "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."
Let us also remember the words of James 5:15-16, "The prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
Lord Jesus, we come before You today to lift up our brother Louis. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body, that You would make him whole, according to Your will. We also lift up his family members and friend who are battling cancer. Lord, be their strength and their portion, their healer and their comforter. We pray that this trial would be used to bring them closer to You, that they may know Your love and peace that surpasses all understanding.
Louis, continue to trust in the Lord, and do not lean on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Remember that even in suffering, God is working for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).
We will continue to pray for you and your loved ones, trusting that God's will be done in each of your lives. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to declare your faith in Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Keep proclaiming His name and His goodness, and may His grace and peace be with you always. Amen.
