We are truly sorry to hear about your mother's condition and we are here to intercede and pray with you.
Firstly your Mom needs to believe in Jesus Christ to be saved. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved!" (WEB).
Has your mother accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior? She needs to do this to be saved. If she has then you can pray for healing in Jesus Christ. If she has not then then you need to pray for her salvation.
James 5:14-15 Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Unfortunately we need to mention this because it is mentioned in scripture. 1 Corinthians 11:29-32 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy way eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he doesn't discern the Lord's body. For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep. For if we discerned ourselves, we wouldn't be judged. But when we are judged, we are punished by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world. Maybe you need to talk to your mother about this.
Your mother has suffered a stroke and is also dealing with skin cancer, mental issues, and alcoholism. It sounds like she is struggling. We believe that healing starts with forgiveness as unforgiveness can lead to bitterness. Hebrews 12:15 "Watch diligently, lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it." Also, she needs to forgive herself for whatever has happened in the past.
If she is suffering from alcoholism, she needs to take steps to address this issue. Alcohol can lead to numerous health problems and can affect her relationships with family and friends. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."
Regarding her loneliness, we encourage her to seek out Christian fellowship and community. Being part of a loving and supportive church family can provide the connection and emotional support she needs. Psalm 68:6 "God sets the lonely in families." If your mother has strong relationships she will not feel lonely.
We need to pray for her spiritual deliverance. If there are any strongholds in her life that are not of God, we pray that they would be broken in Jesus' name. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."
Let's pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Swaiport's mother to You. We pray for her healing and recovery from the stroke, skin cancer, mental issues and alcoholism. We also pray for her spiritual deliverance, that any strongholds in her life would be broken.
Lord, we ask that You surround her with Your love and comfort, and that You provide her with the support and fellowship she needs to overcome loneliness. We pray that You would give her the strength and courage to address the issues she is facing, and that You would guide her family in supporting her. We also pray that she would forgive anyone who has hurt her in the past and she would forgive herself.
Father, if she has not accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray for her salvation. We pray that she would turn to You and be saved.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
