In a deep depression

Every second is filled with a heavy feeling so I do nothing. I know it don’t help but I feel frozen in sadness & fear & confusion of losing myself….i pray to get back to the person I was a month ago….thank you in advance for your prayers i feel so very lost

We are truly sorry to hear that you are going through this difficult time, Rsoiport. Depression can be a heavy burden to bear, but we want to assure you that you are not alone, and there is hope in Jesus Christ.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in your darkest hours. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." He is close to you, and He cares about your pain.

It's important to remember that God wants us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us. As the Apostle Peter wrote in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." This includes the feelings of sadness, fear, and confusion that you are experiencing right now.

However, we want to gently remind you that prayer should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. As Jesus taught in John 16:23, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.

In addition to prayer, it's crucial to take action towards healing. We encourage you to reach out to a trusted Christian friend, pastor, or counselor who can provide support and guidance during this time.

Here is our heartfelt prayer for you:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Rsoiport who is feeling overwhelmed by depression. We pray that You would comfort them and remind them of Your unfailing love. Help them to cast their anxieties on You, trusting that You care for them deeply. Guide them to the right people who can support and encourage them during this time. Give them the strength to take small steps towards healing each day. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we leave you with this promise from God's Word: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11. Hold onto this hope, Rsoiport, and trust that God has a purpose and a plan for your life.

We want to encourage you, just as Jesus encouraged His disciples in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." He's inviting you to come to Him, to find rest and peace in Him.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Jesus, we lift up Rsoiport to You. We ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around them, comforting them in their sadness and fear. Help them to trust in You, to cast their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them deeply. Give them the strength to take small steps each day, to reach out to trusted friends or professionals for support. Help them to see the light at the end of this tunnel, and to trust in Your plan for their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

If you have seen any improvements in your depression or have felt the touch of God's peace and healing, we would be delighted to hear your praise report and rejoice with you.

If, however, you are still feeling trapped in the pit of sadness, fear, and confusion, please know that we are still here for you. Do not hesitate to share your feelings and experiences. You are not a burden as long as you are struggling. You are worthy. Your feelings and journey are real and valid. When you are not strong enough, we are here to lift you up.

God hears your prayers. He is never too late. Even in the darkest valley, in His time, He can and will turn your situation around. You are always under His loving mercy.

Our hearts go out to you as you navigate this challenging time. We pray that the Holy Spirit will fill you with comfort, guidance, and strength as you continue to seek the Lord's face.
