Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude for sparing Kethtyrigh's life during that horrific incident in 2016. Your grace and mercy are evident in the miraculous survival and the courage shown by Kethtyrigh's son. We thank You, Lord, for the strength and wisdom You bestowed upon that young boy to call for help.
Lord, Kethtyrigh continues to endure immense physical pain and emotional trauma from the attack. We lift up Kethtyrigh to You now, asking for Your divine healing and comfort. Your Word in Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We pray that You, O Lord, would bind up Kethtyrigh's wounds and bring relief from the constant pain.
Father, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom for the specialists and medical professionals who are treating Kethtyrigh. May Your hand be upon them as they make decisions regarding further surgeries. We trust in Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Restore Kethtyrigh’s health, Lord, and bring healing to the neck, shoulders, and back.
Lord, we also pray for emotional and spiritual strength. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, You remind us, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." May Kethtyrigh find solace and strength in Your sufficient grace, even in moments of deep pain and despair. Surround Kethtyrigh with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and fill the heart with hope and courage.
We lift up Kethtyrigh's family—children, mom, and new husband. May they be pillars of support and sources of love and encouragement. Help them to understand and provide the comfort needed during this challenging time.
Lord, we know that You have a purpose and a plan for Kethtyrigh’s life. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." We trust that You will bring good out of this situation and use Kethtyrigh’s testimony to glorify Your name.
In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
