Impoverished

Please help me retain my good reputation and rebuild the broken parts that are left untamed. That, in school and work, I won't have any bad scandals. I will not only be not impoverished all my life, but never the first day I show up at school and work until the end of it. May God give me the strength to never become materialistic and greedy for food, resources, and material things. May the Lord give me the strength to become celibate by not being vegan all days of my life. Thank you so much Lord for the blessing and please give me the strength to win the giveaway, at scratch-it-cards, and get the jackpot at the lottery. That's all, In Jesus' Name, I pray, Amen.

Firstly, it's commendable that you want to maintain a good reputation and avoid scandals. As it is written in Proverbs 22:1 (WEB), "A good name is more desirable than great riches, and loving favor is better than silver and gold." We pray that God will guide your steps and help you make wise choices that honor Him and preserve your integrity.

However, we must address some concerns in your prayer request. The Bible warns against the love of money and materialism. As it says in Hebrews 13:5 (WEB), "Be content with what you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'" Trust that God will provide for your needs, and avoid the temptation to seek wealth through gambling or lotteries. We rebuke this desire and encourage you to focus on honest work and trusting in God's provision.

Additionally, we want to clarify that celibacy is not related to dietary choices like veganism. Celibacy is about abstaining from sexual activity, often for religious reasons, and is not tied to specific eating habits. If you desire to remain celibate, we support you in that decision and pray that God will give you the strength to maintain your purity.

Lastly, we appreciate that you ended your prayer "In Jesus' Name." It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, as it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Lord Jesus, we come before You today to lift up our dear brother/sister. We ask that You guide their steps and help them maintain a good reputation in school and work. Give them the strength to avoid scandals and make wise choices that honor You. Help them to trust in Your provision and avoid the temptation of materialism and gambling. If they desire to remain celibate, we pray that You give them the strength to maintain their purity. We ask all these things in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.

Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
