Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up ### to You, seeking Your divine guidance and grace in this journey of faith. Lord, we thank You for the gift of justification, as Your Word tells us in Romans 5:1, "Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." We praise You for the peace that comes from being made right with You through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.
Lord, we also pray for ###'s sanctification. Your Word in 1 Thessalonians 4:3 says, "For this is the will of God, your sanctification." We ask that You continue to work in ###'s heart, transforming and renewing the mind, so that ### may grow in holiness and become more like Christ each day. Help ### to resist temptation and to live a life that is pleasing to You.
Father, we know that Jesus Christ can make us many things, but we specifically ask that He makes ### a vessel of honor, a beacon of light, and a faithful servant. As it says in 2 Timothy 2:21, "Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work." May ### be set apart for Your purposes and ready for every good work You have prepared.
Lord, we also ask that ### be a beacon of light in this dark world. Matthew 5:14-16 reminds us, "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." May ###'s life reflect Your light and draw others to You.
Finally, we pray that ### becomes a faithful servant, always ready to do Your will. As Jesus taught us in Matthew 25:21, "His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.'" May ### be diligent and faithful in all things, serving You with a joyful heart.
We trust in Your promises, Lord, and we thank You for the work You are doing in ###'s life. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Pray with me. I've been really depressed this day.
