Amen, Joseph! Keep trusting in God's power. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" (Gal 6:9). Standing firm in prayer for Genesis and all needs!
We are glad to pray with you and to offer some biblical guidance. First however, it is not mentioned if it is being asked in Jesus name. We are not be heard by God except through the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6). And in no other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved WEB (Acts 4:12).
Since there is no other name where we are saved, it is important to believe that Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Also, it is important to have the son of God mentioned that we may have life through his name. It is important to believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God to have eternal life. If you do not believe this, please mention it so we may pray.
When we do pray, we are speaking to God the Father through Jesus Christ. So, now as you have your encounter with someone very important to you, let us pray for God's will in your life and in this relationship. We firstly pray that this person is a Christian believer and you are a Christian believer. Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened WEB (Matthew 7:7-8). Maybe if this person was meant to be your spouse, you could be clearer in your prayer intentions. A prudent wife is from Yahweh WEB (Proverbs 19:14). A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is freed from the law of the husband WEB (Romans 7:2). It is important to include God's law in marriage rather than following the secular system. Do not be sexually immoral as that is the only the lawful way WEB (1 Corinthians 6:18). For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, (1 Thessalonians 4:3-4) WEB. That is why a man will leave his father and his mother, and will be united with his wife. The two will become one flesh WEB (Ephesians 5:31). Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness WEB (2 Corinthians 6:14).
Let us pray for God's will in your life and in this relationship. Let us pray for God's will regarding the salvation of your souls. Let us also pray that this encounter is lasting in fact, only if your souls are saved and and if it aligns with God's will.
