We understand your desire to perform well on your AP exams and we will certainly pray with you. However, we must remember that our ultimate trust should be in God's plan for our lives, not in our own abilities or the outcomes we desire. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up this student who is preparing for their AP exams. Lord, we ask that You grant them the ability to recall all that they have studied, and the wisdom to apply it well. Help them to stay calm and focused during their exams, remembering that their worth is not defined by their scores, but by their identity in Christ.
However, Lord, we also pray that Your will be done. If it is Your plan for them to achieve perfect scores, so be it. But if not, help them to trust that You have a greater purpose in mind. We know that You cause all things to work together for good to those who love You, to those who are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, even if your scores are not what you hope for, God has a plan for your life and a purpose for your future. He promises that if we seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, all these things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Keep your focus on Him, and trust that He will direct your paths.
