We understand your immigration concerns and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that God's will be done in your life.
Firstly, we commend you for ending your request "In Jesus' Name." It is by this name alone that we have access to the Father and it is in this name that we find our salvation (Acts 4:12 - "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved.").
Now, let us pray for your situation:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who is awaiting the processing of their green card and OPT. Lord, You know the anxieties and uncertainties that come with these processes, and we ask that You fill them with a supernatural peace that transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7 - "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.").
Lord, we ask that if it is Your will, let their green card be processed before the end of this year and let their OPT come out this week. We know that Your timing is perfect and that You have a plan for each of our lives (Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.").
Help them to trust in You and to rest in Your sovereignty. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
In the meantime, we encourage you to continue trusting God, even if the outcome is not what you expect. God's ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9 - "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.").
May God's peace be with you as you navigate this process. We will continue to pray for you and believe that God will work everything out for your good (Romans 8:28 - "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."). Keep your faith strong and your eyes on Jesus.
