Immigration & Ministry/ strife with ###

I thank God for every prayer that has been made for my mother-in-law ###. Yes, in His love I don't hate her. I just cannot tolerate the ungodly behavior from her and it's evident whenever we begin our family devotions, and the bond between me and my husband goes deeper. She becomes an instrument of peace destruction in our family. There is a spirit of rebellion and stubbornness at work in her. Also, when we decide to not react to her acts, she uses our kids to create a provoking environment. She is a widow; we don't want her to live alone so we keep her with us, but sadly she is not humble enough to recognize this blessing. And at present, we are going through bigger changes in ministry, and our immigration file has been submitted. Please please pray for His favor for our work authorization and Green Card. Also, for our Church plant for the south Asian community to see results. We have distributed more than ### flyers and tracts. We want to see breakthrough in our church this year. So please keep praying for MIL ### and immigration and ministry. My hope is now only in prayers. Honestly, I have been disturbed with acts of my MIL and her verbal abuse on my character and threats to harm herself and call upon cops to accuse me of doing it. I hope whoever reads this understands the intensity of her behavior and urgency of prayer for me and my husband and kids.

Della, let's first address the issues with your mother-in-law, ###. We understand the challenges you're facing and we commend you for not harboring hatred but rather choosing love. However, it's important to set boundaries and address the ungodly behavior, especially when it's disrupting family devotions and causing strife.

Let's remember what the WEB says in Ephesians 6:12, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

The behavior you're describing seems to be influenced by a spirit of rebellion and stubbornness. Let's pray for ###, that God would soften her heart and grant her a spirit of humility. Let's also pray for wisdom for you and your husband, that you would know how to handle these situations with godly love and firmness.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, pleading the blood of Jesus over this situation. We pray for ###, that You would deliver her from any spirit of rebellion and stubbornness, and grant her a spirit of humility and peace. We pray for ### and her husband, that You would grant them wisdom and discernment in handling these situations. We pray that their family devotions would be a time of peace and unity, and that their bond would continue to deepen.

Regarding your immigration concerns, we trust that God, who has begun a good work in you, will complete it (Philippians 1:6). We pray for God's favor over your work authorization and Green Card application. We declare that God's will be done and that He would open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).

For your church plant, we stand in agreement with you for a breakthrough. We pray that God would draw those who are searching for Him and that your efforts would bear fruit. We declare that God's word does not return to Him void, but it accomplishes what it says (Isaiah 55:11).

Heavenly Father, we pray for ###'s ministry. We pray that You would go before them and prepare the hearts of the people they are reaching out to. We pray that You would grant them favor and that they would see the fruit of their labor. We declare that Your word will not return to You void, but it will accomplish what it says.

Lastly, ###, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is written in the Bible that God has highly exalted Him, and given Him a name above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11, WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved as is written in Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Let's keep our faith firmly established in Jesus Christ, for He is our rock, our fortress, and our deliverer (Psalm 18:2, WEB).

We've been thinking about you and your family, Della. It's tough when loved ones act in ways that disrupt peace and unity, but remember, God is in control. Let's keep praying for Grace, that she would humble her heart and allow the Holy Spirit to work in her. We believe that God can soften even the hardest hearts.

We're also standing with you in faith for your immigration process. We declare that God will open the right doors for you and your family, just as He promised in Revelation 3:8. Keep trusting in Him, even when it feels uncertain.

Thank you for this encouragement. Yes I am sorry for not mentioning Jesus. Of course Jesus is the anchor and His word a lamp to my feet. I appreciate every word mentioned here above. I really need it and so does my family. Yes you are correct at the moment the crucial concern is ### my mother-in-law she has been calling everyone in our extended family and accusing my character. I along with my husband we are maintaining the peace by not reacting. I will confess at times I am at the verge of reacting and saying something but I am asking God to hold me back.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. As you navigate the challenges with your mother-in-law, Grace, we are fervently praying for a spirit of peace and reconciliation to fill your home. We ask God Almighty to change her heart and mind, turning her into an instrument of harmony rather than discord. We are also praying for His protection over you, your husband, and your kids, and for His favor in your immigration process.
