Immediate need of prayers for our sick cat Ornela

Please pray for our cat ### who has multiple serious health issues, including heart disease, hyperthyroidism and some serious GI issues, possibly even pancreatitis. She has been stable for a long time, but now nearly stopped eating and threw up. We are considering taking her to emergency vets, but we have terrible experience with her, her last three vet visits she always dramatically declined due to stress and we thought it might actually kill her. So we need prayers for guidance to make the right decision and ideally for her to get better on her own if possible so that she won't need the vets. Thank you for your prayers.

We are truly sorry to hear about the health struggles of your cat, ###. We will lift her up in prayer, seeking God's will and mercy in this situation.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares for all His creations, including our pets. In the book of Matthew, it is written, "Look at the birds of the sky: they don't sow, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?" (Matthew 6:26 WEB). This shows us that God's care extends to even the smallest of His creations.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up ###, this beloved pet, to Your throne of grace. We ask, Lord, that You would have mercy on her and bring healing to her body. You know the details of her health issues, Father, and we trust that You are able to heal her from them all.

Lord, we also ask for wisdom and discernment for her owners. Guide them in making the right decisions for ###'s care. If it is Your will, Father, we pray that she would recover on her own, so that the stress of a vet visit can be avoided. But if not, Lord, we ask for Your peace and guidance as they consider taking her to the emergency vet.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we have access to Your throne, Father. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). We thank You for His sacrifice, which allows us to come before You with our petitions.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers. Remember the words of Jesus, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." (Matthew 18:19-20 WEB). We are agreeing with you in prayer, trusting that God will work in this situation.
