We are truly concerned for your adult child who is struggling and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and guidance.
Let us first affirm our belief that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we approach God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is in His name that we pray for your child.
In times of struggle, we remember the promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working even in this difficult situation.
We pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Ylir's adult child to You. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, and we ask for Your divine intervention. Surround them with Your love, comfort, and guidance. Give them the strength to overcome their challenges and draw them closer to You. Lord, we also pray for Ylir, that You would grant them peace, patience, and wisdom as they support their child. Help them to trust in You, knowing that You have a good plan for their child's life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your child, trusting that God hears your prayers. Remember the words of James 5:16 (WEB), "Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
In this time, it is also important to guide your child with godly wisdom. Proverbs 22:6 (WEB) says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Continue to point them towards God's truth and love.
Lastly, ensure that your child is not involved in any sinful behavior that may be contributing to their struggles. If so, lovingly rebuke them and guide them towards repentance, remembering the words of 2 Timothy 3:16 (WEB), "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness."
