Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Brenyn and their concern for the safety of their daughter, Morgan, this weekend. Lord, we know that you are a loving and caring God, and you are always watching over us. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7 to be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, to let our requests be made known to you. So, we bring this specific request before you, knowing that you hear our prayers.
Father, we ask for your divine protection over Morgan during this weekend. We pray that you would surround her with your angels, guarding her every step and keeping her safe from any harm or danger. Lord, we ask for your guidance and wisdom to be upon her, that she would make wise decisions and be protected from accidents or any harm that may come her way.
We also pray for Brenyn, who is burdened with anxiety and worry. Your Word reminds us in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all our anxieties on you because you care for us. We ask that you would calm their heart and mind, replacing their worry with your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in your sovereignty and know that you are in control of every situation.
Lord, we pray that you would grant Brenyn and their family a sense of peace and assurance during this time. May they find comfort in knowing that you are watching over Morgan and that you are always with them. Help them to surrender their worries and fears to you, knowing that you are their refuge and strength.
In Jesus' name, we pray, amen.
"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." - 1 Peter 5:7
