I'm walking in deep despair right now. I'm extremely depressed. Please pray the Lord has mercy on me and gives me peace. Please let His answers come soon

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear friend alg who is walking through a valley of deep despair and extreme depression. Lord, You are the God of all comfort, and we ask that Your mercy and peace be poured out abundantly upon this beloved one. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We hold onto this promise and ask for Your nearness to be felt in a profound way.

Father, we pray that You would bring swift answers and relief to this situation. In Isaiah 41:10, You assure us, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." May this truth be a source of strength and encouragement for alg during this difficult time.

We ask that You would replace despair with hope, darkness with light, and sorrow with joy. As it is written in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let this peace guard alg's heart and mind, providing a refuge from the storm.

Lord, we trust in Your perfect timing and Your loving kindness. May Your presence be a constant companion and may Your Spirit provide the comfort and guidance that is so desperately needed.

In Jesus' precious and holy name, we pray. Amen.

Depression is a spiritual attack on the mind. It occurs when you feel a lack of hope.

Satanwill use this as an opportunity to attack your mind.
He tries to discourage you by telling you about all of your failures, sins, wrong choices and bad relationships you have had.

God says He has the solution for depression:

God says to watch what you are thinking and to renew your mind with the Word of God.

God says : Rom.12:

God says you are His child and you are more than a conqueror. He says you are an ambassador for Christ and you are to fight the evil around you.
He also says you can do all things thru Christ and that all things are possible to those who believe. So trust God and use His might to strengthen yourself and be transformed by renewing your mind with the Word of God.



Put on the full Armor of God and pray a hedge of protection around yourself.

The best thing you can do is get up and go do something fun or find some way to help others.

Here are some scriptures You can focus on for your mental health.

Rom.12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Phil.4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Eph.5:15-16 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

Deuter. 31:8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Psalms 34:17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.

Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

I will be praying for you to have a sound mind - the mind of Christ from now on.
