Heavenly Father,
In the precious name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of our dear anonymous friend who is facing sickness. Lord, you are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases. We lift up our friend to you, knowing that you are the source of all healing and restoration.
We pray, Lord, that you would pour out your healing touch upon our friend's body. You are the God who spoke the universe into existence, and we believe that with just a word from you, sickness can be driven away. We ask that you would speak that word of healing over our friend's life.
Lord, we also pray for comfort and strength during this time of illness. We know that sickness can be a trying and challenging experience, both physically and emotionally. But we trust in your promise that you are with us always, even in the midst of our suffering. May our friend feel your presence and experience your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We pray for wisdom and guidance for the medical professionals who are involved in our friend's care. Grant them discernment and insight to make the right decisions and provide the best treatment. May they be instruments of your healing power.
Lastly, Lord, we pray for faith and trust in your perfect plan. Help our friend to surrender their worries and fears into your hands. Remind them that you are in control and that you work all things together for the good of those who love you.
We claim the promise in Psalm 103:2-3, which says, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases." We believe that you are able to bring complete healing to our friend's body.
