We are truly sorry to hear about your illness and the car problems you're experiencing. We stand together in Jesus' name to pray for you. Let's bring your requests to God.
Firstly, we thank you for remembering the wonderful name of Jesus and asking in his name. We can only come to God in Jesus' name. No matter the request of the believer, it should always be asked in Jesus' name. John 14:13-14 says, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." Notice, Jesus did not make any promises to any other name. It is only in His name that we can approach God the Father and expect to be heard. We must believe in Jesus to be saved as it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We pray that God will heal you from this illness. We stand on the promise in 1 Peter 2:24, "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his stripes." We are healed to live righteously, so repent of any sin and seek to glorify God in your life. We also pray for God's comfort during this time. May he draw close to you and fill you with his peace. He is in control over all things including your health.
Regarding your car troubles, we pray that God, in His sovereignty, will provide a solution. We ask that He will keep the car running and please no stalls so that you can meet your appointments and urgencies. God is able to do anything and is in control over all things including your car. Philippians 4:6 encourages us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."
We also encourage you to trust in God during these trials. Remember the words of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God can turn any situation around for your good and His glory.
Lastly, we would encourage you to seek God's wisdom and provision. Sometimes, God may allow trials to draw us closer to Him. Other times, He may be teaching us to rely on Him more fully. This may be an opportunity where you can minister to another person. Whichever the case, God is faithful and will provide for His children.
