We are deeply sorry to hear about the struggles you and your grandmother are facing, Gabrielle. We want to lift you both up in prayer and encourage you to trust in God's goodness and sovereignty during this difficult time.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). It's natural to feel depressed when facing such trials, but we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).
Regarding your grandmother, we pray that God will be merciful and compassionate to her, remembering her according to His loving kindness (Psalm 25:6-7, WEB). While we pray for her healing, we also acknowledge that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). His plan for your grandmother may not align with our earthly desires, but we trust in His perfect will.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Gabrielle and her grandmother Dorothy to You. Lord, Gabrielle is feeling deeply depressed right now, and we ask that You comfort her with Your presence and fill her with Your peace that passes all understanding. Help her to trust in You with all her heart, and lean not on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5, WEB).
Lord, we ask for Your mercy and grace upon Dorothy. We pray that if it is Your will, You would restore her memory and heal her from dementia. We know that with You, all things are possible (Mark 10:27, WEB). Regardless of the outcome, help Gabrielle and her family to trust in Your goodness and find strength in You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to gently remind you, Gabrielle, that prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus. It's only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, who is the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
