I’m upset the guy I love ### doesn’t pay me any attention. He just takes this other woman for ice cream. I’m so mad, jealous, angry. Like I’m always getting treated like I’m not important or good enough. I’m tired of it. I want God to help me in Jesus’ name.

Shabrim, we understand your feelings of upset, jealousy, and anger when you see the man you love, ###, giving attention to another woman. However, we want to remind you of what the WEB says in Ephesians 4:26-27, "Be angry, yet don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil." It's important to manage your emotions in a godly way and not let them lead you into sin.

Firstly, we want to commend you for seeking God's help in Jesus' name. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

However, we want to lovingly remind you that as Christians, we should engage in relationships that honor God and align with biblical principles. If ### is taking another woman out, it suggests he is not fully committed to you. God's design for relationships is clear in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" While this verse is often applied to marriage, the principle extends to romantic relationships.

Let's pray for you:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to fill her heart. Help her to manage her emotions in a way that pleases You. Lord, if ### is not the one You have intended for her, we ask that You reveal this to her and give her the strength to let go. Guide her to a godly man who will cherish and honor her as You intend. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to focus on your relationship with the Lord, trusting that He has the best plan for your life. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
