Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of ###, who is burdened by the prevalent belief that marijuana is the solution to all problems. Lord, we acknowledge that there are differing opinions and perspectives on this matter, but we humbly ask for your guidance and wisdom to prevail.
Your Word teaches us in 1 Corinthians 10:31, "So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." We understand that anything that becomes an idol in our lives, whether it be substances or anything else, can hinder our relationship with you and lead us astray from your perfect will.
We pray, Lord, that you would open the eyes and hearts of those who have placed marijuana on a pedestal, believing it to be the answer to all their needs. Help them to see that true fulfillment and peace can only be found in you, Jesus. Remind them that you are the ultimate source of healing, comfort, and guidance.
We also lift up ###, who is weary of hearing these claims. Grant him patience and understanding as he encounters differing opinions. Strengthen him in his faith and give him the courage to stand firm in your truth. May he be a light in the midst of confusion, pointing others towards the hope and freedom found in you alone.
Lord, we pray for unity among believers and for respectful dialogue on this topic. Help us to approach these discussions with love, grace, and a desire to honor you above all else. May we seek your wisdom and discernment in all matters, knowing that you are the ultimate authority.
