Im supposed to receive a government check either today

Im supposed to receive a government check either today or thursday from my university because I cant pay the bills on my own strength. I checked my student account earlier and it said I OWED money of a thousand dollars when just a couple days ago it showed I was to be given money. Please pray for me that this is just some type of processing thing that happens while your en route to getting refunded because financial struggles have been burdening my spirit for a long time.
