Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who is struggling with anxiety and panic attacks. Lord, You are the Prince of Peace, and we ask that You pour out Your calming presence upon them. Your Word says in Philippians 4:6-7, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." We claim this promise for our friend, asking that Your peace, which transcends all understanding, will guard their heart and mind.
Lord Jesus, just as You calmed the storm with the words, "Peace, be still," we ask that You speak these words over the storm of anxiety in our friend's life. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them deeply. We pray that You would remove the spirit of fear and replace it with a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind, as promised in 2 Timothy 1:7.
Father, we trust in Your unfailing love and ask that You surround our friend with Your comfort and strength. May they feel Your presence in every moment of distress and find rest in Your loving arms. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
