Heavenly Father, we come to You in Jesus Name, asking for Your help and guidance for Benmor. We ask that You would give him the strength and courage to overcome his struggles with alcohol and depression. Help him to find the support he needs to get healthy and stay healthy. We ask that You would fill him with Your peace and joy, and that You would surround him with people who will encourage and support him. We thank You for Your grace and mercy, and we ask these things in Jesus Name, Amen.

My friend suffered depressions issues, as well, friend, but feels much better now after therapy, medication, and much needed prayers. You might also find this book helpful: 5 Keys for Dealing with Depression.
