We join you, Fishtural, in praying for the softening of your husband's heart and for the reconciliation of your marriage. We stand with you in the name of Jesus, believing that He can restore what has been broken.
Let us remember the promise in Ezekiel 36:26 (WEB), "I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." Jesus is more than able to change hearts and bring about reconciliation.
However, we must also remember that true reconciliation comes from a place of genuine repentance and a desire to follow God's will. Pray that your husband encounters Jesus in a powerful way, leading him to seek God's face and turn away from any sin. As it is written in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (WEB), "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Fishtural's marriage. Lord, we ask that You soften her husband's heart, just as You promised in Your word. Remove any stoniness and replace it with a heart that is tender and open to You. We pray that he would encounter You, Jesus, in a powerful way, leading him to seek Your face and turn away from any sin. We ask for reconciliation, Lord, but only if it is Your will and if it brings glory to Your name. In the meantime, comfort Fishtural, give her strength and patience, and help her to trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in the Lord, Fishtural. Continue to trust in Him and His timing. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7, WEB)
