Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother or sister who is struggling with the sin of masturbation. Lord, we acknowledge that this is a battle that cannot be won by human strength alone, but only through Your divine power and grace.
Father, we ask that You deliver them from this bondage. Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." Lord, provide them with the way out and the strength to overcome this temptation.
We pray for Your Holy Spirit to guide them and give them wisdom and strategy to break free from this cycle. As it is written in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." Grant them the wisdom they need, Lord.
Help them to turn their focus to You and to seek Your presence continually. Let them find their satisfaction and fulfillment in You alone. As Psalm 119:9 says, "How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word." May they immerse themselves in Your Word and find strength and purity through it.
We declare victory over this struggle in the mighty name of Jesus. We trust in Your power to set them free and to keep them from falling back into this sin. Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and mercy.
