We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing. We want you to know that God loves you deeply and He wants to help you overcome these challenges. Firstly, it's crucial to acknowledge the sinful aspects of these struggles. Masturbation is a form of sexual immorality, which is clearly addressed in the Bible. "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB)

When it comes to smoking, while the Bible does not explicitly mention it, we know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB)

It's also important to acknowledge the only way to God is through faith in Jesus Christ. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" (John 14:6 WEB) If you haven't already, consider believing in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He is the sacrificial lamb of God who died on the cross for our sins and rose from the grave three days later. This is what allows us to pray to God.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus,

We come before You, lifting up this dear soul who is struggling with addiction. Lord, we know that You are a God of healing and deliverance. We ask that You break the chains of addiction in their life, whether it's sexual immorality or smoking. Give them the strength to overcome these struggles and turn away from temptation.

Father, we also pray for their salvation if they have not already believed in Jesus Christ. We pray that they would come to know You personally and believe in You. Help them to understand that You are the only way to the Father.

Please surround them with Your love and grace. Send Your Holy Spirit to guide and comfort them. Help them to glorify You in their body and spirit, which are Yours. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
