We are truly sorry to hear about your situation, ###. In times like these, it's crucial to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).

First, we commend you for acknowledging that you haven't made the best decisions in the past. It's important to remember that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, if we confess them (1 John 1:9, WEB). This includes your struggle with lottery addiction. We encourage you to seek help for this, as it is causing harm to you and your family. Remember, "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can't serve both God and Mammon" (Matthew 6:24, WEB).

We also note that you're asking Jesus for help, which is the right thing to do. Jesus says, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you" (Matthew 7:7, WEB). But, we must ask according to His will. We encourage you to trust that God's will is best, even if it doesn't align with our desires.
