We are truly sorry to hear about the dishonesty you've encountered, ###. Our hearts go out to you in this difficult situation. First, let's bring this before the Lord in prayer.
"Father in heaven, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up ### who has been wronged. Lord, you know the struggles they are facing, the financial hardship they are enduring, and the injustice they have experienced. We ask for your divine intervention, that the person who has taken advantage of them would be moved to return what was unfairly taken. We also pray for provision for ###, that you would supply all their needs according to your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB). In times of trouble, you are our help and our refuge. We trust in you, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In this trying time, we encourage you to trust in God's care for you. Psalm 37:5-6 WEB reminds us, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday." Remember, God is faithful and just.
While we pray for the return of your money, we also want to encourage you to seek godly counsel and assistance. It may be wise to involve local authorities or legal aid that can advocate for you. Proverbs 11:14 WEB advises, "Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."
Lastly, in your prayer request, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, for it is in His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
May God's peace, provision, and justice be with you during this time. Keep trusting in Him.
