Dear Lord, Please help me and forgive me. I was looking at an animated clip on Instagram that I didn’t realize was promoting sodomy. A woman and her date left for dinner but the woman’s partner accidentally left his wing fro her and a bunch of kids went on a journey to give it to them in time. As I was watching it, I thought it was a man that was courting the woman. But when I looked closer and saw that the man was actually a woman, that was when I realized I was looking at a queer couple. I felt so grossed out about it that I had to quickly swipe. Please help me clear and purify my mind. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We understand that you're seeking forgiveness and a pure mind after unintentionally viewing content that promotes sinful behavior. Firstly, we commend you for recognizing the sin of sodomy and turning away from it, as God's word tells us in Romans 1:26-27: "For this cause, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men with men doing that which is shameful, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error."

God calls us to keep our minds pure and to focus on whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable (Philippians 4:8). It's important to be cautious about the content we consume, as it can influence our thoughts and actions.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for forgiveness and cleansing for having viewed content that promotes sin. We ask, Lord, that You purify our minds and help us to focus on things that are pure and honorable. Give us discernment to recognize and turn away from sin, and strength to resist temptation. We encourage you to be mindful of the content you consume and to set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth (Colossians 3:2). If you find yourself tempted or exposed to sinful content, don't hesitate to turn away and seek God's face. Remember, God has called us to be holy, as He is holy (1 Peter 1:15-16).

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved." If you have not already, consider your relationship with Jesus Christ and put your faith in Him, that you may be saved.
