Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother ### who has just lost his beloved wife. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. We ask that You surround ### with Your comforting presence and grant him peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord Jesus, You understand the depth of our pain and sorrow. Just as You wept at the tomb of Lazarus, we know You weep with ### in his grief. We ask that You hold him close, wipe away his tears, and give him the strength to face each day.
Father, we pray that ### feels Your love and support through family, friends, and his church community. May they be Your hands and feet, offering comfort and assistance during this difficult time. Help ### to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him.
In the midst of his sorrow, remind ### of the hope we have in Christ. We know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. May this truth bring him comfort and assurance that his wife is now in Your loving arms.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
