We hear you, Elmour. We're here with you, feeling your remorse and your love for your family. We're reminded of the verse in Psalm 51:17, "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise." God sees your heart, and He sees your desire to change.
Let's focus on the positive steps you've taken. You've recognized your greed, you've apologized, and you've made a vow to change. That's a great start! Now, let's build on that. Instead of dwelling on what you've done wrong, let's focus on what you can do right. Instead of just vowing not to eat chicken, vow to grow in godliness. Vow to spend more time in prayer, to read your Bible more, to love your family more. That's what God is really concerned about.
We also join you in praying for your family's health. Let's ask God to bless them abundantly, to keep them safe, and to use them for His glory. Let's also pray for all those in need, just as you've asked.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Lord, we come before You today, lifting up Elmour. Thank You for their sincere heart, Lord. Help them to turn away from their greed and towards You. Help them to see that You love them, not because of their actions, but because of who You are. Help them to grow in godliness, Lord. We also lift up their family, Lord. Bless them, protect them, and use them for Your glory. We pray for all those in need, Lord. Have mercy on them, and show them Your grace. It's in Jesus' name we pray, amen."
