Let us first acknowledge God, for "God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19 WEB). It's important to remember that God knows our needs before we even ask (Matthew 6:8 WEB), and that includes our financial needs. "and my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
However, we must also be content in all circumstances, as the Apostle Paul wrote: "Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it" (Philippians 4:11 WEB). This doesn't mean we shouldn't work or seek better circumstances, but our contentment should ultimately come from our relationship with Jesus Christ, not our job or income.
Let's pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this need before You. We pray that You would open the doors for work opportunities for ###, according to Your will. We ask that You would provide the needed shifts, and that You would bless ###'s work and provide for their financial needs.
We also pray that You would help ### to trust in You fully, casting all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Help ### to be content in all circumstances, knowing that You are their ultimate provider.
Lastly, we pray for ###'s salvation. "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 WEB)
We ask all these things in Jesus' name, for it is in Him that we live, move, and have our being (Acts 17:28 WEB). Amen.
