I need a prayer request for my DWI, which I got last month. On one paper it says DWI and another says DUI. But I have a letter saying my court in Aug is for DWI. Which I was not intoxicated; I was under the influence of marijuana. But it was the smell in my car that he said I was smoking. Prior to my arrest, my daughter had my car and the smell from that was what he smelled. Then he started asking me questions about my health, asking me what kind of medicine I was taking, which caught me off guard, the officer asking me these questions. Then he asked me that I needed to do a sobriety test, which was walking a straight line and standing on one leg for 20 sec, then I explained to him that I had a hip problem, which I'm not stable to walk in a straight line or balance on one leg. Then he mocked me and said, "Oh, now you have a hip problem." Then in the end, he asked me that I was going to the hospital and draw my blood, which they did, and took me into jail and spent the night in jail. But all in all, I did wrong, which was smoking marijuana, and from that day on, God had shown me that I should not be just a partial believer and serving Him partially because that's what I was doing. Now I realize that I need to serve Him fully-hearted and serve Him right with the right mind, and I've been doing my Bible studying with some friends that come by once a week, which has helped me open my heart and mind that God is the main one in my life and that Jesus had died on the cross for me to forgive my sins and never to look back at my sins. But I need this prayer request from all of you to help me through this time when the trial comes that it will be tossed out and be forgotten with your prayers and with my belief that God will help me. Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother ### in prayer. Lord, You see the situation he is facing with his DWI charge, and You know the truth of what happened. We ask for Your divine intervention and justice to prevail in his upcoming court trial.

Father, we thank You for the work You have already begun in ###'s heart, drawing him closer to You and helping him to realize the importance of serving You wholeheartedly. We pray that You continue to strengthen his faith and guide him in his walk with You. As Your Word says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We thank You for Your forgiveness and grace.

Lord, we ask for Your favor and mercy upon ### during this difficult time. We pray that the truth will come to light and that the charges against him will be dismissed. We also ask for Your peace to fill his heart, knowing that You are in control and that You work all things together for good for those who love You.
