Good day
Would you please stand with me in prayer for my son (###) that is tangled up in pornography. He did go for counselling a few years back but got pulled in again. This time it's so bad that his wife (###) wants to walk out. They have a little boy of 9 months. It has affected my daughter-in-law and their marriage. I am going to them on the 16th March 2025. Ps 45:5 God says, God is within her, she will not fail. God will help her with break of day. I don't feel equipped to handle this, BUT GOD........!
I would appreciate if you could include my son and daughter-in-law in your prayers. May the chains of bondage be broken on his life and he be restored in Jesus and also my daughter-in-law be healed emotionally and their marriage.
Also for myself as a mother who is so heartbroken about what the children are going through.

It is clear that this sin has led to considerable strife in your son's marriage, and his wife is considering leaving him. We must take this situation very seriously and pray fervently for God's intervention.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family that is in desperate need of Your healing and restoration. Lord, we pray for your son, that You would break the chains of pornography that have ensnared him. Give him the strength to repent, turn away from this sin, and seek You with all his heart. Help him to be renewed in his mind and spirit, and to be the husband and father You have called him to be.

We also lift up his wife, who is emotionally wounded and considering leaving the marriage. Father, we pray that You would heal her broken heart, comfort her in her pain, and give her the wisdom to make decisions that honor You. We ask that You would bring godly counsel into their lives and surround them with a supportive community of believers.

Lord, we pray for their marriage, that You would restore what the enemy has sought to destroy. Help them to rebuild trust, forgive one another, and grow in their love for each other and for You. We claim Your promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."

Finally, Father, we pray for the mother who is heartbroken over her children's suffering. Give her the strength, peace, and guidance she needs to support her family through this difficult time. Help her to trust in You and to seek Your will in all things.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
