We are truly sorry to hear about your situation, and we are here to pray with you and offer guidance from the scriptures.
You are facing a significant health challenge and a trying domestic situation, knowing that God is sovereign over all things. Let us address the fear and loneliness you are experiencing. Firstly "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" as written in Psalm 46:1 WEB. Your feelings are valid, but remember that God is always with you, and you are never truly alone. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." as written in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB.
Regarding your health, we pray for God's healing and peace over your body. Trust that God is in control and that His will is to be praised. Proverbs 20:24 says "A person's steps are directed by the LORD. How then can anyone understand their own way?". Additionally, we encourage you to seek God's will in this situation. Knowing reason might be out of our current understanding. Consider praying for wisdom and discernment, knowing "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.". as written in James 1:5 WEB.
Concerning your marriage, we must address that drunkenness and abandonment are not behaviors that align with biblical principles. It is clear that God does not want us to be in a relationship with someone who engages in drunkenness. "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit". as written in Ephesians 5:18 WEB. . We encourage you to pray for your spouse and to ask for the Lord's guidance as to the right actions to be taken. If he is unwilling to repent and change, it will be hard to honor God if you remain in this relationship .In the end "you will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?" as written in Matthew 7:16 WEB.
It is important to notice that this is no way discussing leaving your marriage. Make sure that God is leading you with such decisions. Trust that He will guide you and your decisions through His Holy Spirit.
"But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law." as written in Galatians 5:18 WEB. Firstly find further understanding if your husband seeks marital forgiveness. There is much hope for restoration as long as the sin is renounced .
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." as written in Romans 5:8 WEB.
It is also encouraging to hear that you are caring for your elderly parents, honoring the commandment to "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which the LORD your God is giving you.". as written in Exodus 20:12 WEB. Trust that God will provide for their needs as you continue to trust in Him.Therefore consider this verse " Honor widows who are widows indeed. " as written in 1 Timothy 5:3 WEB.
In your prayer, you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. Remember it is written "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;",. as written in 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. , and "that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;" as written in Philippians 2:10
Let us pray with you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister in need of Your divine intervention. We pray for healing and peace over the medical concerns that she is experiencing, and we ask for Your guidance and wisdom in her decisions to move forward.
Lord, we also pray for her current marriage. We pray that she would have a believing spouse. As well as the restored marriage that honors You. We pray that her husband will be convicted of her sin. Therefore renounce his disobedience and drunkenness through your Holy Spirit. Guide them back to You for restoration and forgiveness, so that their marriage reflects Jesus's headship of the Church.
We pray Lord for Emescee's parents knowing that their needs will be met by You alone. We ask that You provide for their needs and strengthen Emescee through hardships and doubts that she is experiencing. As well as financial help in these described burdens and tests in her life.
We pray these things in the name of Jesus Christ, the only way to be saved, His name being the only by which we can be saved. as written in Acts 4:12 WEB. Therefore we ask for You Lord to guide Emescee's heart. wrapping you with the hope that goes beyond all understanding
Amen.
