I’m so lost

I reached out to my ex-girlfriend, Maeve, seeking reconciliation or closure after years of silence. We both still have feelings, but the circumstances are difficult, and I don’t know what to do. I received many signs from God before I apologized, but now I feel lost and scared as I haven’t seen any since. Please pray for a painfully clear sign from God about what I should do—whether to wait, move on, or take her back—and for clarity, peace, and trust in His plan.

When we have a relationship with someone, it should honor God and align with His principles. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, it says, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? This means that if Maeve is not a believer in Christ, you should not be pursuing a relationship with her.

Moreover, it's crucial to seek God's will in all things, including relationships. In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, it says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on yourown understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

It's commendable that you're seeking God's guidance, but we want to caution you against asking for signs. In Matthew 12:39 WEB says, An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, but no sign will be given. God expects us to trust Him and His written word. In it we find direction. Українська

Regarding your request for prayer, it's important to remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God. In John 14:6 WEB Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. and in John 14:13-14 And whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. So we will pray in accordance with God's will and in Jesus' name.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Paroxyromai who is seeking Your will in his relationship with Maeve. Lord, we ask that You grant him clarity, peace, and trust in Your plan. Help him to seek You wholeheartedly, trusting that You will make his paths straight. Guide him to act in accordance with Your word and give him the strength to follow Your will, whatever it may be. Remind him of your promise in Jeremiah 29:13 Amplified Bible (AMP, You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.) Help him to draw closer to you and your will during this challenge. If Maeve is not a believer we pray that she learn the truth about Jesus and his sacrifice on the cross for us. We pray that they both seek God and marry believers in the future so that their marriages will honor God, praying according to Your will, in Jesus' name. Amen.

May God grant you peace, clarity, and trust in His plan. Keep focusing on your relationship with Jesus Christ, and the Lord will guide you in the path He has chosen for you.

Thank you so much for your prayers and encouragement. I can’t tell you how much it means to me to know that others are standing with me in prayer as I work through this.

I wanted to share a quick update because I believe God has been speaking to me in very clear ways. I’ve received confirmation from three different people—a Christian hypnotherapist, a reverend who reached out to me out of nowhere, and a close friend who is deeply grounded in their faith. Without knowing each other or comparing notes, all three shared the same message: that God is telling me to wait patiently, that Maeve will come to me, and that this is a time to focus on my own growth, faith, and purpose. They also encouraged me to keep praying for her to find a true relationship with Christ and to ask God to keep the oil in my lamp filled so I’ll be ready for whatever step He reveals next.

The signs have been so clear it almost feels like God’s humorously tapping me over the head, making sure I don’t miss what He’s trying to say. On top of this, I recently felt the Holy Spirit in such an overwhelming way—it was pure love and peace, reminding me that God is actively present in my life and guiding me forward.

I still don’t know exactly what’s ahead or when things will happen, but I’m trusting in God’s timing. Please continue to pray for patience, clarity, and trust in His plan. Pray that Maeve finds Christ and that both of our hearts are prepared for whatever God has in store. And pray that I remain faithful and ready to take the next step when God shows me the way.
