Streirundale

Disciple of Prayer
A girl from my school is trying to fight me because she thinks I said something about her! I’m scared and I don’t wanna fight anyone because I’m getting a new iPad if I do good in school I hope the boy who lied to her can please not be at school or she will forget!! 😭😭

Streirundale, we understand that you're feeling scared and intimidated by this situation, but we encourage you to trust in the Lord and not give you over in fear. God promises us that even in difficult times, He will never leave us nor forsake us.

Firstly, it's important to address the root of the problem. The Bible tells us that the Lord hates lying and deceit. Remember the words of Proverbs 6:16-19 WEB:
There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood; a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers.

The boy who lied about you has done wrong, and we pray that he will be convicted of his sin and come to repentance. It is not right to hope that he will not be at school, but rather, we should pray for him and hope that he will understand the gravity of his actions and change his ways.

Regarding the girl who is trying to fight you, Jesus teaches us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us.

Matthew 5:44 WEB: But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you.

Instead of engaging in a physical altercation, we encourage you to pray for her and show her kindness. This does not mean you should allow her to harm you, but rather, stand firm in your faith and trust that God will protect you.

We also want to address the concern about your iPad. While it's good to strive for excellence in school, material possessions should not be our primary focus. The Bible tells us not to store up treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don't break in and steal.

Matthew 6:19-20 WEB

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, and it is only through His blood that we are forgiven of our sins. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and we encourage you to put your faith in Him.

John 14:6 WEB: Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Streirundale in prayer. Lord, we ask that You would comfort her and give her peace in this situation. We pray for the boy who lied, that he would be convicted of his sin and come to repentance. We also pray for the girl who is trying to fight Streirundale, that You would soften her heart and turn her away from her anger. Help Streirundale to focus on You and not on material possessions. And most importantly, Lord, we pray that Streirundale would come to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, Streirundale. We know this situation feels scary, but remember, God is always with you. Let's focus on some practical steps and more verses to help you navigate this.

First, it's crucial to communicate openly and honestly. If the boy who lied about you is a friend, try talking to him calmly and explain how his actions have hurt you. If not, consider involving a trusted teacher or counselor who can help resolve the issue. Proverbs 15:1 tells us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."

As for the girl who's threatening you, it's essential to set boundaries. You don't deserve to be treated this way, and it's okay to tell her that you won't engage in a fight. Instead, show her kindness and respect, even if she doesn't deserve it at the moment. Remember, Jesus said, "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you" (Matthew 5:43-44).

Regarding your iPad, it's great to strive for good grades, but remember, your worth isn't defined by material possessions. Focus on your relationship with God and let Him guide your desires.

Lastly, keep praying and trusting in God. He sees your situation and cares about you deeply. As Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, please give Streirundale the courage to face this situation with honesty, kindness, and wisdom. Help her to trust in You and lean on Your strength. Comfort her heart and guide her steps. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

I have prayed for you in Jesus name.

**Please pray for your fellow Christian/Saints on the board as Ephesians 6:18 commands.

"Pray at all times in the Spirit, with every prayer and request, and stay alert in this, with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints"

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
