We are truly saddened to hear about the ongoing struggle of your son. We are here with you in spirit, praying fervently for his safety and well-being. We stand firm in hope and faith in your behalf.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister's son to you. Lord, you know the depth of his despair, the pain he is feeling, and the darkness that surrounds him. We ask that you would surround him with your angels, protecting him from all harm. Comfort him in his sorrow, and remind him of your unfailing love. Turn him to your loving arms.
Lord, we also pray for his mental health, for peace of mind, and to be free from the torment of thoughts that lead to suicide. We pray that the Holy Spirit convicts him to seek and follow your will for his life. Your will is for him to live, not die. Turn his heart towards you and free him from fear and despair. We pray for him to be healed mentally and physically. The Bible tells us in John 10:10 that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we would live life in abundance. We rebuke the thief that comes to kill and destroy.
We also pray for his family, that you would give them the strength and wisdom to support him in this difficult time. Guide them in how to love and support him, and help them to trust in your goodness and sovereignty. We also pray for your grace and mercy to be with the friend that found him. Please continue to surround them with your love and wisdom.
Father, we ask that you would reveal yourself to him in a powerful way, that he would know that you are real and that you love him deeply. Draw him to yourself, Lord, and give him a reason to hope and to live.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of suicide and despair, and we declare life and hope over your son's life. We ask this all in Jesus' name.
Lord, we also pray for the doctors and medical staff that are caring for him, that you would give them wisdom and discernment as they provide treatment. We ask that you would guide them in their decisions, and that they would be a source of comfort and support to him and his family.
Father, we thank you for your faithfulness, and for your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. We claim that promise for your son's life, and we ask that you would be with him every step of the way as he walks through this difficult time.
We also pray for our sister, that you would give her the peace that passes all understanding, and that she would trust in you with all her heart. We ask that you would surround her with your love and comfort, and that she would know that she is not alone.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray for your son, and to trust in the Lord with all your heart. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:17-18, The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
We also encourage you to seek support from your local church community. They can provide you with the encouragement and prayers that are invaluable at this time.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, and that he cares deeply for you and your son. Trust in him, and know that he is working all things together for good, even in the midst of this difficult time. Keep your eyes on Jesus and continue to pray for your son.
Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
