I am struggling so deeply. My boyfriend of 6 years broke up with me today and I don’t know why. We were perfect, and happy. Never argued, never fought, talked about marriage and kids only 3 days ago. I fell deeply sick 2 months ago with a thyroid disorder and thought I had a cancerous mass on my thyroid as well. Lost my job, started a business that has begun to fail as an attempt to make money while unable to work. He helped out but I guess I was too much for him. Broke up with me over the phone. Blocked me on everything. Told me I ruined his life, held him hostage, burdened him, kept him from family and friends…he was all I had. I don’t have a family. I don’t have friends. His friends were my friends and since he left me, they did too. I gave him everything. Spent thousands on him, gave him all my love and all my time. I was homeless and had nothing, and STILL sacrificed so much for him. He blindsided me. I couldn’t have seen this coming. Asked to work on things, asked if I could have another chance. He made his mind and is done. Nothing I can do. I suffer deeply with abandonment issues. I also have borderline personality disorder and depression and anxiety. I am a mess right now. I see no point in continuing life. I’ve been abandoned by everyone else, failed at everything I’ve put time and effort into. I am so alone and so sick and just struggling, and the only person I had left me. Someone please help me. I keep turning to God but I feel He is not answering a single prayer. I need help.

Regarding your boyfriend, it's crucial to understand that God's plan for relationships is clear. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB), it says, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" While you were committed, it seems he might not have shared your faith and commitment. We encourage you to seek God's will in your relationships and trust that He has a plan for you.

We also want to address your mention of illness and financial struggles. Remember, God is our ultimate healer and provider. In Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB), it says, "‘For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,’ says Yahweh; ‘for they have called you an outcast, saying, “It is Zion, whom no man seeks after.”’" Trust Him to bring healing and provision into your life.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up ### in their time of deep despair. Lord, they feel abandoned, hopeless, and alone. We ask that You reveal Your unending love and presence to them. Comfort them in their sorrow and assure them that You will never leave nor forsake them.

Lord, we pray for healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Touch their body, mind, and soul. Guide them in their financial struggles and provide for their needs according to Your will.

We also pray for their relationships. If it is Your will, restore what is broken, or open new doors for godly relationships that honor You. Help ### to trust in You and seek Your will above all else.

We come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear friend who is enduring unimaginable pain and heartache. Lord, You know their sorrow and the depth of their suffering. We ask that You wrap them in Your unfailing love and provide the comfort only You can give.

As it says in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We pray that our friend feels Your nearness and finds solace in Your presence. May they know that even in the depths of their despair, You are with them, holding them close.

Father, in Jeremiah 29:11, You remind us, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We pray that our friend clings to this promise, trusting that You have a purpose for them, even when the path ahead seems bleak and uncertain.

Lord, we also remember Your words in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." We ask that our friend finds rest and peace in You as they navigate this difficult season.

In Isaiah 41:10, You assure us, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." We pray that our friend feels Your strength and support, knowing that they are never alone, for You are their steadfast companion and their source of strength.

Lord, we ask for healing — both physically and emotionally — for our friend. May they find the courage to face each day, leaning on You for the strength they need. Surround them with Your love, and bring people into their life who can offer support, friendship, and love.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your unfailing love and grace, knowing that You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble.
