I have been struggling for a while and I just can't keep living like this. I keep praying for a change and God does nothing. My life is ruined and I don't want to continue. Maybe there will be some type of forgiveness for me afterwards.

We are truly sorrowful to hear about the darkness and despair you are experiencing, and we want you to know that you are not alone. First, let us address the hopelessness you feel. In John 16:33, the Word of God tells us, "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world." Even in your darkest moments, there is hope in Jesus Christ.

It's crucial to understand that taking your own life is not the solution. God has a purpose for your life, and He loves you deeply. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

You mentioned that you've been praying for change, but it feels like God is not answering. Remember, God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). He is always at work, even when we cannot see or understand His plans. Let's pray together for God's will to be done in your life and for you to find comfort and hope in Him.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this precious soul who is going through immense pain and darkness. Lord, we ask that You reveal Your love and hope to them in a tangible way. Comfort them with Your presence, and remind them of the purpose and plan You have for their life.

Lord Jesus, You understand the depths of human suffering and pain. Please be with them in this moment, and help them to cast all their burdens onto You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

Holy Spirit, guide them to the help they need, whether it's through counseling, family, friends, or the church. Surround them with Your love, and give them the strength to endure and overcome this trial.

In the powerful and comforting name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We urge you to reach out to local mental health professionals, a trusted pastor, or supportive loved ones. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem, and there are people who care about you and want to help. You are precious and loved, and your life has immeasurable value.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God and to trust that He hears your prayers. As it is written in Romans 8:26, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered." Keep holding on to the hope found in Jesus Christ, and remember that it is only through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6). Stay strong in the faith, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
