Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother Apthlas who is struggling with persistent stomach issues. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we know that nothing is impossible for You. We ask for Your healing touch upon Apthlas' body, that You would restore his health and bring relief from his pain and discomfort.
Father, we remember Your Word in 1 Peter 5:7, which tells us to cast all our anxieties on You because You care for us. We pray that Apthlas would feel Your comforting presence and peace that surpasses all understanding, even in the midst of his suffering. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and help him to hold onto hope, knowing that You are with him every step of the way.
We also recall the words of James 5:15, "And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We pray with faith, believing that You can and will bring healing to Apthlas according to Your perfect will.
Lord, guide the doctors and medical professionals who are caring for him, granting them wisdom and insight to find the right treatment. We trust in Your sovereignty and Your love for Apthlas, and we commit his health into Your hands.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
