Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before Your throne of grace on behalf of ###, who is seeking Your divine intervention and blessings. Lord, You are the God of all comfort, and we ask that You envelop ### in Your loving arms during this difficult time. Your word tells us in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." May ### feel Your comforting presence and find solace in Your promises.
Father, we lift up ###'s situation to You. The loss of a loved one, especially a mother, is a profound sorrow. We ask that You bring peace to ###'s heart and mind. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Draw near to ###, Lord, and heal the brokenness within.
We also pray for the removal of toxic influences in ###'s life. Surround ### with people who uplift and encourage, and help ### to discern and distance from those who bring negativity. Proverbs 13:20 says, "He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm." Guide ### to walk with those who are wise and loving.
Lord, we pray for a season of blessings and good things to begin in ###'s life. In Jeremiah 29:11, You assure us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." May ### hold onto this promise and trust in Your perfect plan.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
