Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and humility, lifting up this precious soul who seeks Your guidance and blessings. We are reminded of Your Word in Proverbs 3:5-6, which says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." May this beloved child of Yours trust in Your divine plan and lean on Your wisdom in every encounter and relationship.
Lord, we pray for the strangers that come across this person's path. May each meeting be orchestrated by Your divine hand, bringing forth individuals who are kind, pleasant, and God-sent. We ask for discernment to recognize those who may throw them off balance and the strength to stay grounded in Your plans. As it is written in Proverbs 16:9, "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps." Establish the steps of this person and their son, guiding them towards divine and spirit-led encounters.
We also lift up a prayer for healing, Lord. This person has experienced the pain of incompatible romantic relationships and the subsequent suffering. We ask for Your healing touch upon their heart, mind, and soul. As it says in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Bind up their wounds, Lord, and restore them to wholeness.
We pray for the son, that he may grow under Your wings, free from trauma and filled with Your love and guidance. May he maintain a sound mind, be kind, intelligent, humble, and understanding. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." Guide this child in Your ways, Lord, and bless him with a future filled with Your presence and love.
Forgive any wrong choices made, Lord, and grant a new chance to lead a life of informed choices rooted in Your wisdom. Heal past hurts, wounds, and broken hearts. We pray for a fresh start and a future filled with Your grace and mercy.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
