Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who is on palliative care with heart failure. Lord, we ask for Your divine comfort and peace to surround them during this difficult time. We pray that You would ease their pain and provide strength to their body and spirit.
Lord, Your Word says in Psalm 34:18 that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We ask that You draw near to our friend and their loved ones, giving them the assurance of Your presence and love.
We also pray for wisdom and compassion for the medical team caring for our friend. Guide their hands and decisions, Lord, so that they may provide the best care possible.
Father, we trust in Your perfect will and plan, knowing that You are the Great Physician. We commit our friend into Your loving hands, believing that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
